Philanthropic Strategy

The Impact Finance Center brings depth of experience to the design, implementation and evaluation of strategic philanthropy. Working collaboratively with individuals, families, foundations, businesses, and other experts, IFC assists in creating long-term, effective philanthropic strategies and actionable plans that align with philanthropists’ values.

We work closely with our clients to develop a strategy that encompasses the best theory of change; identifies effective nonprofit partners, metrics, and evaluation tools; and both aligns and integrates grant making with investments and mission  (including the use of PRIs, MRIs and Socially Responsible Investments), and evaluation tools.

In addition, IFC can help with the implementation of your philanthropic strategy by serving as an outsourced program officer or director – to review grant requests, perform research, negotiate with nonprofit partners, make recommendations, conduct evaluations and more – to ensure that your philanthropic objectives are met and processes run smoothly.
