Sales Role
We are looking for a sales associate that can work on ticket sales for our upcoming conference, CO Impact Days. This role is commission only and a great way to get connected into the Impact Investing space.

The Impact Finance Center (IFC), a dynamic academic center at the intersection of impact investing, philanthropy and social and environmental innovation, is looking for project support fellow for up to 25 hours per week each to support the Impact Finance Center and CO Impact Days and Initiative. These positions work directly with the IFC Operations and Development team, and supports a small, high-performing team of professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with or ability to learn donor/contact management system (we use Salesforce)

  • Strong research skills

  • Highly organized and productive

  • Flexible to assist with unforeseen tasks

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Successful with project execution

  • Critical thinker and resourceful – foresee opportunities/obstacles

  • Reliable analytical and decision-making ability; can process information on the fly

  • Ability to produce excellent work independently

  • Computer/digitally savvy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Google Apps)

  • Experience performing work in a non-structured environment

Possessing the following will help you be successful in this role:

  • Prior success in roles requiring you to manage time, communicate effectively and organize numerous projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to stay positive and focused in an environment where volume of tasks is inconsistent, organizational systems are still being established, and where schedules and priorities change day-to-day.

  • Willingness to initiate communication with team members to solve problems before they arise.

  • Commitment to anticipating needs, clarifying expectations and sometimes taking leadership.

  • Work ethic needed in a startup environment – some tasks are challenging, others are more menial, and each team member jumps in where needed.

Details
You will join our team, often working remotely and meeting off site. Expected to be available Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, at various locations throughout the metro area. May also include infrequent evening/weekend hours.  We can also discuss a personalized schedule.

Salary Compensation
Most fellow positions start off as unpaid. Depending on your level of experience, we are open to negotiating appropriate compensation. Option for school credit is available.
